The matchday code

Simple rules.
No grey areas.

Read them once, then get your pick in before the deadline.

  1. 01

    Entry

    Pay before you play and tell Marc how you’ve paid. Entry fee is £10/€12 per competition. See the Round 1/2/3 etc. Matchday 1 posts for payment details or the QR codes in the banner.

  2. 02

    Re-entries

    Only on Matchday 1 are you allowed to re-enter by paying again if a team you pick doesn’t win and you choose another team on the same matchday before they kick off. This counts as a separate new entry.

  3. 03

    Missing the deadline

    If you forget to make a prediction in time, you’ll be automatically allocated the next available team in alphabetical order. Strictly enforced in the interest of fairness.

  4. 04

    Postponements

    If a match is postponed after the deadline for a matchday, everyone who picked a team involved heads through. If postponed before the deadline, you’ll be tagged and asked to pick again.

  5. 05

    Fixtures

    Any set of weekend or midweek fixtures with five or fewer matches will NOT constitute a matchday. Six fixtures is the minimum to choose from.

  6. 06

    No winner

    If nobody picks a winning team: under 5 players the pot is split unless EVERYONE agrees to continue; 5 or more players everyone goes through to the next matchday and the teams picked cannot be chosen again. There is no rollover.

  7. 07

    Spread the word

    The more the merrier and the bigger the pot, so add others to the group and tag them as a reminder to get involved. The group is private so only people in the group can see tags.
